Penang Foodie

Hello beautiful souls 💕

Earlier this month I took a healing trip after hectic monthssss and months and months at work. I was so drained at a point that the only thing that would make me feel a little bit better was buying a flight ticket 😂

Considering a cheaper option and familiar place, I booked flight to KL. 

2 weeks after I bought my BKI-KUL (return), I bought KUL-PEN. It would be bored to be in KL for the whole 1 week. So I thought it is best to go to Penang. 

Why Penang?
1. Foodssss
2. The return ticket KUL-PEN was only RM 88
3. Went to Penang once at my aunt's during Raya Haji but didn't get to explore the city. Dari last year tau simpan hajat nak g Penang.
Refer reason no 1.

I fly solo. Didn't bring any friend from KK with me. The perks of study for my Degree in KL is I know at least someone from all state in Malaysia 😂

Syai (my UKM classmate) was the tour guide for my days in Penang as she work there. 

We explore Penang with her motorcycle and it was the best choice ever! Bypass traffic jam and convenient for parking. 

If you visit Penang hill, you can see the city map. Kurang 2 hari dah boleh cover hujung ke hujung Penang.

You can just google touristic place in Penang. 
In this post I just wanna show all foods that I get to eat while in Penang 😍

Day 1

I arrived in Penang at around 4.30 pm. 
Pagi tu BKI -KUL sampai KL pukul 12 p.m. 
Then pukul 3 lebih flight KUL-PEN.
Sampai rumah Syai terus keluar g cari Nasi 7 Benua ni. Datang pun dah petang, lauk tak banyak dah. Nasib daging tu sedap. I love! Lepas kitorang siap makan terus tutup kedai. Nampak tak lambat. Kul 7 dah tutup. 

Nasi 7 Benua. 7 types of rice with my choice of lauk. Purposely put the spoon there so you can see the portion.

Blooms Cafe or known as Pink Cafe. 
Haruslah pergi at least 1 cafe hipster 😂
Motif  : to take photo sitting inside the bubble tub.

Passion fruit tea. The best!
I forgot what Syai had. Hahah
Mocha or choc drink.

Day 2 

When I said I am not a roti canai person people will say I'm weird. 
But this time I even list this roti canai as a must eat food while in Penang.
Roti canai ayam transfer road for breakfast.

The famous Teochow chendol. 
The red umbrella.
See the queue. 

That feeling to see this after a long queue. 
Dapat cendol tak gambar pun.
Terus fokus. 
I know we have the outlet in Imago mall as well. But this one taste different cause they use a different type of coconut milk. 

Syai kata Hanis Zalikha haritu datang Penang, Yusuf nak aiskrim kat sini. 

Pastu tetiba iols pun nak. 

Lunch at Nasi Kandar Line Clear.
Nak Deen Maju sebenarnya tapi tak jauh dari area jalan tu dah yang ni dekat.
That uncle insist to put sotong goreng on my plate. I only mention I want daging but look at what else he put on my plate. Hahah
This is what I like. 
Masa makan kat kedai nasi kandar in Kingfisher KK, the person only give me nasi putih kosong and asked me to "kandarkan" the nasi myself. Serius masa tu sedih gila. Sampai mengadu dekat my dad 😂
Gara-gara tak reti bubuh kuah campur-campur. Kah kah
Ni la sampai Penang cari nasi kandar. 
Gigih.

I would say this is a healthy bowl top with scoop of happiness! 

High tea at Passion Heart Cafe
Famous for its Cempedak cheese cake and Cempedak crumble cake.
I am already too full so just had this cempedak cheese cake. 
Buah cempedak tu as a base and cheese cake on top. 
I likeeeeee!

Dinner Char Kuey Teow basah special
At Padang Brown
Too good to be true sebab order dekat stall area Pokdi Klate in KK frust. 
Ni pun sampai Penang cari. 

Day 3 

Breakfast at transfer road again.
Sebelah kedai roti canai tu ada stall roti bakar.
Not really my forte. 
Mungkin kalau roti bakar tu ada butter + kaya mesti lagi sedap. Yumsss

Fruitmade famous for its soft serve 

Passion + mango soft serve with glutinuos rice.
The base is mango cut into half. 
So after the ice cream finished, you can eat the mango base.

Ni Syai punya. 
Dragon fruit ice blended.
Plus few more fruits but only remember whats obvious.

Penutup... Char kuey teow (dry) at Bee Hwa restaurant 💕


Return to KL in the afternoon. 

Sekejap sangat duduk Penang. Sebab kena bahagikan masa nak berjimba dengan geng KL pulak 😂

I will repeat Penang again to eat Laksa, pasemboq & mee sotong!
Bukan kerja ja kena ada priority, tapi makanan pun. Yg ni antara makanan tersisih 😂 tak sempat nak makan. Nasib baik dulu masa duduk KL dah puas makan laksa & pasemboq.

Prepare your eyes. FREE MANDARIN COURSE AT AMC COLLEGE KOTA KINABALU

Hello beautiful souls! 😊 I have always wanted to learn Mandarin since I was a kid. Pengaruh cerita cina. One of the reason to be excited to enter Uni was to take Mandarin as a foreign language. Unfortunately....my university (UKM) do not offer foreign language course as we are not located in the main campus in Bangi. I studied in UKM KL campus. So in Uni, I have been only learning English 😂 Then I told myself, I'm gonna take the course in AMC college once I graduated since the duration for the course is 3 months, I didn't get to do it while studying. By the way, I went to AMC after SPM as well, that's when I learned English course before I went to Matriculation.  After graduated in 2017, I applied for the course but never been called. Last year I finally get a PIC contact number and it happened that I changed my phone number but did not update in the system. LOL. the thought about living the future

11 years ago, We had a camp at school. It was around 6 p.m, before maghrib, during the daily disapperance of the sun. Me and my friend, we were having a conversation while walking. I still remember vividly what we were talking about. We were pondering about the future. "what we will be doing 10 years from now?" Its been 11 years now. She's a wife, a mom to a cute baby boy, a working mom. While i'm still in my final year degree. We both remember whenever she asked me "when do you think you are getting married?" Since almost the past 10 years, i can't believe myself being consistent. I have been giving the same answer for years! "10 more years" "Why do your 10 years never changed?" I think now i am tired of being consistent. will reduced my 10 years now.
