Epic sunrise experience

Hello beautiful souls 💜

2 days ago we planned to chase the sunrise, again.
After the failure of the previous one -- we only chase dream in our sleep.

I have always thought that hiking would have the best chance to see sunrise cause people have been doing this in the morning. But well, me being me do not want to hike for sunrise since it took up too much energy. Then we thought, going to the beach should be fine.  
Sehati sejiwa, yakin this time will be our time.

So we chose Tanjung Aru Beach to chase for the sunrise in this beautiful Wednesday morning.

I asked Deidre to give me a wake up call at 4 a.m. 
I sleep for less than 3 hours only. Even I doubt myself if I am able to wake up 😂

She. really. called. me.

For a moment at 4 a.m, I stay on my bed re-thinking my decision for this super early morning trip.

But then Deidre sent a follow up text saying
"Please confirm if you are awake so I can go to bath in peace"

Wahh this woman. 

Cut the story short, I really wake up guys, super early just aiming to see the sunrise.
Everybody who knows me would be surprise even my family. hahah.
Normally I wake up this early if I take an early morning flight but it will be my dad who drive.
This morning, I drive myself. 

While discussing about this trip, our dream was to buy a coffee and staying by the beach while waiting for the sun to rise above the horizon. 
Just thinking about that motivates us for this chasing sunrise mission.

We arrived at Tanjung Aru Beach at around 5.30 a.m, meet up with Bebe and Khazrul.
Since it was still too dark, we stayed in the car for awhile.

We were so excited guys, waiting inside the car imagine drinking the coffee by the beach and enjoying the beautiful sunrise. We sacrifice our good sleep for this.

Until....a sentences pop out from Deidre's mouth..

"The earth rotate around the sun. We normally watch sunsets here, so can we watch the sunrise on the same spot as well?"

How on earth we only realized that at 5.50 a.m? 

Can you feel our imagination crash at that very moment our brain neurons start connecting to each other?

There were four of us, not so smart Science Streams students 😂

Even in Islam, if the sun rise from the same direction as it sets, it is the sign of the end of the world. 
MashaaAllahhhh

We were laughing so hard thinking why we never though of that before. 

Funny thing is Deidre even download this one apps to see the direction of sunrise just to confirm that.
HAHAHAHAH

It was too late to drive to a higher viewing point at that hour. 
Google suggest Kokol.
But even in google you won't found suggestion for the best sunrise in KK.
Some suggest climbing Mount Kinabalu. This must be a joke for me.

We saw a strike of yellow-ish sun color behind the trees.
Laughing again.

The ambitious squad

Despite of having our imagination of witnessing a majestic sunrise crashed, we still enjoyed the morning picnic (with coffee and tea) by the beach.
Just talking about life and of course laughing all the time mocking ourselves for our mistake that morning. 

It's okay guys, so next time you know, KK beach indeed have the best sunsets but do not chase sunrise there.

When we thought we had enough of Vitamin D, at around 8.30 a.m we packed-up and move to another place to kill the time. 
Chan's CNY open house will be at 10.00 a.m.
Me and Deidre couldn't afford to go back home then going out again.



 Passed through this bundle in Kampung Air and decided to look around. 
We found nothing but killed some time tho.

Then went to get some drinks at Gaya Street

Deidre trying hard to fit in the group.
Pretending to feed the birds to get the best shot but the boy pity her and gave her some actual food so she can stop pretending and be real instead. I cannot hahahahah

"Ni zhai kan shen me" or "Ni kan shen me"

I can't really remember the actual sentence but he was saying
 "what are you looking at?"

You look cool little buddy. Unlike Deidre who tried so hard to fit in. hahahah
Thanks Deidre, for being the source of laugh today.

After getting our drink, which taste awful,
(I ordered Avocado juice to feel healthy for the first time and it taste like banana)
 we went to Chan's house to stuffed our stomach with foods. Stayed for few hours then head back home to call it a day!

Till next Sunrise 2.0 😂😂😂

If hiking would be the best choice then hiking it is. 
On tak on?
As much as possible, please consider driving to a higher viewing point instead. 
(I wish)

Prepare your eyes. FREE MANDARIN COURSE AT AMC COLLEGE KOTA KINABALU

Hello beautiful souls! 😊 I have always wanted to learn Mandarin since I was a kid. Pengaruh cerita cina. One of the reason to be excited to enter Uni was to take Mandarin as a foreign language. Unfortunately....my university (UKM) do not offer foreign language course as we are not located in the main campus in Bangi. I studied in UKM KL campus. So in Uni, I have been only learning English 😂 Then I told myself, I'm gonna take the course in AMC college once I graduated since the duration for the course is 3 months, I didn't get to do it while studying. By the way, I went to AMC after SPM as well, that's when I learned English course before I went to Matriculation.  After graduated in 2017, I applied for the course but never been called. Last year I finally get a PIC contact number and it happened that I changed my phone number but did not update in the system. LOL. the thought about living the future

11 years ago, We had a camp at school. It was around 6 p.m, before maghrib, during the daily disapperance of the sun. Me and my friend, we were having a conversation while walking. I still remember vividly what we were talking about. We were pondering about the future. "what we will be doing 10 years from now?" Its been 11 years now. She's a wife, a mom to a cute baby boy, a working mom. While i'm still in my final year degree. We both remember whenever she asked me "when do you think you are getting married?" Since almost the past 10 years, i can't believe myself being consistent. I have been giving the same answer for years! "10 more years" "Why do your 10 years never changed?"
